Ricardo Gauthier , Au.D.

Dr. Ricardo Gauthier is an audiologist and an active member of the Charlotte county community for more than 6 years. A native of Brooklyn New York but grew up mostly in Florida . He received his Doctorate in Audiology at the University Of Florida College Of Health Professions , and then took a resident position at Bay Pines VAMC in St. Petersburg , FL.  Since 2002, Dr. Gauthier has served area residents in Port Charlotte , where he specializes in pediatric and geriatric populations. His field of interests includes audiologic assessment, amplification, vestibular diagnostics and rehabilitation. His professional affiliations include membership in the American Academy of Audiology, and the Florida Academy of Audiology.Dr. Gauthier is a member of the Board of directors of the Murdock Rotary Club, where for over 6 years he has been involved in improving the quality of life of hearing impaired children of Haiti . He and his wife, Rosalyn live in Port Charlotte and have two sons Xavier and Avery, who keep them busy. For recreation and fitness, Dr. Gauthier enjoys working out, basketball and running.

Marilyn K. Larkin, Au.D.   

Dr. Marilyn Larkin is the founder and president of Harbor Audiology, P.A. With more than 29 years of clinical experience in the diagnosis and rehabilitation of hearing disorders, Dr. Larkin is Board Certified in Audiology. She has had extensive experience in hearing rehabilitation and hearing instrument fitting with infants, children and adults. Completing her undergraduate training at The Ohio State University, she earned her Masters degree and completed deaf- education training at Adelphi University, and was awarded her Doctorate in Audiology at the Arizona School of Health Sciences. Originally from Ohio, she founded and directed an Audiology and Speech center on Long Island with two offices, consulted with numerous school districts, provided services to deaf infant programs and was consulting audiologist to Brookhaven National Lab before moving to Punta Gorda in 1991. Dr. Larkin is an active member of the American Academy of Audiology, the Florida Academy of Audiology, and the Academy of Doctors of Audiology . She serves on the Board of Directors of Hearing Impaired Persons of Port Charlotte. Never far from the water, she and her husband live in Charlotte County and have cruised from Lake Huron to the Bahamas and most places in between. When not "up to her ears" in work, she loves to raise orchids and spoil her grandkids.

Renee Engelking, Office manager

Renee has recently joined us from Michigan with her Husband, Aaron, and two sons Zachariah and Jacob. They moved here to be closer to their parents. Renee and her family enjoy spending time outdoors in various activities enjoying the beautiful Florida weather.  Peggy, our office manager and audiology assistant retired in August. Renee realizes that she has big shoes to fill but she is eager to meet the challenge.
